Job Description
To provide administrative support within the Domestic Technical Team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department. To portray the professional image of Stroma both internally and externally by supporting and receiving training candidates and visitors in a friendly and efficient manner.
Qualifications/Skills Desired:
- Experience of telephone systems.
- Excellent IT skills, including all Microsoft Office.
Job Description
To form part of a busy certification team, providing technical support and advice to scheme members. To carry out desktop audits on members work, to assess candidate portfolios and provide feedback. To develop and contribute to technical documents and manuals.
Qualifications/Skills Desired:
- Experience and knowledge of the construction industry.
- Knowledge of building services and construction.
- Interest in the energy efficiency of buildings.
- Knowledge of energy and sustainability standards.
- Knowledge of related planning guidance and building regulations.
- Knowledge of SAP, RdSAP, Code for Sustainable Homes
- Holds relevant industry qualifications: HI, DipDEA, DipOnConDEA.
- Holds A1 or D32/33 Assessor Award.
Qualifications/Experience Desired
- General knowledge of AutoCAD
- Prior residential construction knowledge (building technology/thermal performance)
- Computer literacy – outlook, word, excel etc
- Interest in sustainability/desire to learn
- Part L Building Regulation knowledge - would be an advantage – not essential
- Existing SAP assessor - would be an advantage - not essential
Qualifications
- ONC / HNC building services
- Consultancy experience
- Knowledge of Part L Building Regulations
- Knowledge of SBEM
- Knowledge of 3D modelling software
- CSH & BREEAM Assessors
- Building Services Engineers
- Sales Supervisor
